Genome Barks Podcast - Cerebellar Degeneration with Dr. Natasha Olby

This week on Genome Barks, AKC Canine Health Foundation Vice-Chair Lee Arnold welcomes Dr. Natasha Olby of North Carolina State University.  A veterinary neurologist, Dr. Olby has received funding from the CHF to study cerebellar cortical degeneration in several breeds.  In this podcast, Mr. Arnold and Dr. Olby discuss what breeds are involved in the research and what progress is being made.

Genome Barks Podcast - Reproduction with Dr. Sylvia Bedford
This week on Genome Barks, we welcome Dr. Sylvia Bedford, a faculty member at Cornell University with a specialty in veterinary reproduction.  Recorded at the August Breeders’ Symposium held in Syracuse, New York, Dr. Bedford discusses various elements of healthy reproduction factors, such as age, vaccines and environment.  She also goes into detail about artificial insemination methods and practices, and the variety of success rates with each.
